Yea I started noticing lower n03 right around 3-4 weeks, but I have 2 big ones in separate baskets, cutting the roots is key, I only did it to 1 of the 2 plants and the other one has considerably more growth!I have not seen that large of a change yet with mine. I am hopeful I will. My plants have been in my tank for about 4 weeks now. Maybe a little more time and they will be going like crazy.

We have addressed that in this thread already, please read the whole thing, roots will not harm you fish! This is the same as whats commonly reffered to as money plant rt ?
In which case its toxic to animals. What about the roots ??
I am planning on adding some to my goldfish tank , since during rains this year, nitrates in supply water has gone up.
Would the roots be toxic , if say goldfish were to nibble on it ?

Nice!I'm using them also, made baskets outta eggcrate that fit behind my 3d bg plants sit in them, no gravel I staggered the eggcrate in the basket. No drip growing good very low light been 1 month.
Added drip line into my sump for additional pothos that will sit above the water line, baskets in production. Picked up a small light at the *** auction, will mout it underneath

Yes it need to be able to flow inside a little, more holes are needed. Pics when your done!I'm planning on adding a couple of those 2 foot long planters with pothos in my tank, just got them over the weekend. The 2 feet length will fit in perfectly between the center brace and corner overflows, making kind of a built in hanger since the planter box has a lip. There are already holes in the bottom for drainage (taking off the tray) but I was going to drill some more to allow for more water flow. The lower half of the box will be in the water.
Oh and if anyone wants to know about plants poisonous to cats & dogs, here's a link.

Yup. I was gonna say Tradescantia pallida, because I don't see stripes on the leaves.Tiller, the first plant you have is wandering jew, the second one looks like pothos though.
I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I have a tank setup in the garage which gets about an hour of sunlight everyday. I like the look of the golden ivy. Are there any other names for this particular plant? I just want to make sure I get the right one.
