Cheap plants, less nitrate! POTHOS

Yea I feel you man, I did it different, too many people saw my tank, pmed me and asked, so I made a thread instead of replying all day, if people wanna cry about there already being one then that's fine, I have a few DIY threads out there, no matter what, if you start a thread there's a 99.9% chance its already been done....

How long does it usually take for the pothos to take off and start growing and using up nitrates? I've had mine for a couple of months now along with some lucky bamboo, and while I've seen some reduction it's not what I expected and the pothos hasn't seemed to have grown at all yet.

Thanks for inspiring me :) I just added some pothos I had in my room into the tank, looks great ;)

Thanks :) 50 gallon channa punctata tank, gonna go down on filtration so the pothos will help alot :)
