could i just plop em in there or should i get the baskets im not a huge fan of the baskets and i have some jumpy fish so it needs to be kinda tight fitting. thoughts?

I just let my roots hang in there, I want them to grow so my Channa can hide in it later on :)

You can stick them in an hob or if you have any gap in ur lid just stick it there, it will grow almost ANYWHERE!

I went to my local HD and the moment I got to the garden section nature started calling so I rushed back to my truck and went straight to work to deal with it lol. Will head back there after work. Love this thread, keep the ideas coming.
