last choice 11 Convict Cichlid,5 Severum,and 3 oscar
This is fine for a 200g or 250g. In a 55g, you will be doing a 50% water change every day. Are you even reading my posts?

ill try to get them all at 3 inches
No, this is poor fishkeeping. You must be ready to house the adult size of every fish you buy unless you're just made of money and are sure there's a bigger tank on the way.

i will do a 30% water change every day if i have to
That will help with your water quality, sure. Good plan. Sort of. But on the next notch down we have aggression. Oscar trios don't work. The usual explosion is that two will pair up and harass the third to death, or as each reaches sexual maturity it goes on a bullying spree to claim the tank. Try ONE oscar. That's a recipe for success, in a larger tank.

Your convicts will be pairing off and murdering everything in there anyway. Your stocklist is a bloodbath timebomb.

It's still grotesquely overstocked. What is prompting you to attempt such a large mass of fish in such a small tank anyway? In all reality, 11 convicts will probably be able to claim the 55g for themselves. Each convict should get at least 3", even in poor conditions, and that's already 33 inches of BEEFY fish matter, so a 55g would really be a recommended minimum just for the cons. Add their mating aggression and their ability to follow through with the killing and you're left with just the cons.

I have a 150g and have kept cardnal tetras, neon tetras, jack dempsey, electric blue jack dempsey, Blood parrots, guppies, oscars with my convicts. Not all at the same time of course, the oscars would eat most. I had some medium sized oscars with a dime sized jack dempsey and the oscars never even tried to hurt the jd or convicts.

right now my convicts have reproduced and I have about 4 pairs and many dime sized convicts, 2 blood parrots, a 5 inch JD, 1.5in electric blue JD, african knife and a few guppies. All those have been in there about 2 years or so. I have not lost a fish yet. I often have a bunch of convict fry in the tank, but most get eaten by the plecos before they get too big. Some make it to be larger though. I need to take some to the fish store so I don't get too many though. If I counted all the convicts even the small ones, I probley have 50 or so right now.
I do 50% water changes every week as well as a drip. I have never had a water quality problem so far. I have had a few sensitive fish in there such as the cardinals and the ebjd.
I am in the process of building a cave wall to give the convicts more tank area that they can use. I have one wall up right now and they love it.

is this ok 11 Convict Cichlid and 3 Severum
Now you're in the ballpark. You could certainly try that and watch for aggression. Be ready to separate if needed, but yes, compared to your previous plans this is much more manageable for you.
