-Decision time-

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
a person who likes pacus as much as you did might consider paying for the shipping of a 2 foot pacu, if the sale price is free and all they have to pay is shipping.

some fish rescue programs have committees that can find suitable homes for the fish. i called the zoo once but they were not willing to take anything. few months later i got ahold of a fish rescue program and then i was referred to the same zoo who is now interested in my fish. try to exhaust as many IFs as possible before taking the life of a healthy fish --unless you're going to eat it. then it doesn't feel like that much of a waste.

Update-

Looks like my LFS is dropping off a 150 gal to use for up to 6 weeks....
We are gonna try to lace the Pacu in it and hope for the best-
_I'm gonna lay money on my Pacu breaking their tank_

It should only take acouple days to get everything redone on the tank-Then acouple weeks to let bacteria build before I try and place the Pacu back into the 500 Gal..

Looks Like we are gonna try and save the big guy after all....

Just thought I would let everyone know that is interested in this...

Good to hear. Hope all works out Bro.

Glad to hear the good news. Can't wait to hear the update on him.

it will certainly be interesting to see if the "holding" tank will hold up for that long though......

I expect he will see some damage from this move...Hopefully just nothing too serious that will scar or mess up his almost perfect complection.....

Here's hoping for the best.

So is it only the pacu that you were planning to kill, what about the other fish?

And maybe acouple other's----But I had tanks for the most of them to house them for a bit.......

The Pacu is what presented a problem mainly though
