Thanks-
it will certainly be interesting to see if the "holding" tank will hold up for that long though......

I'd try to find one of those plastic ponds or something as a back up. It should work as a temp if you can find one that's 18in deep, and maybe 4x4 or bigger.

I expect he will see some damage from this move...Hopefully just nothing too serious that will scar or mess up his almost perfect complection.....

Still, best of luck with the big guy. Look forward to hearing a positive outcome.

Sorry to hear fo your troubles. I hope that everything works out for the best.

Thanks for the kind words......

On another note.
The 150 was dropped off at my place yesterday....Gonna a bit of work today on things and hopefully monday transfer the pacu to it-when this happens-I'll have Pics of the move for everyone....Gotta get a full body shot of my Pacu in this 150 as well-

Here is to hoping..... (i guess we will see if I properly repaired the center brace tomorrow huh?) We are doing all that we can to save him so I am at the very LEAST crossing my fingers.

Just a thought ,is there any way you can keep the filter running and save your BB colony in it? That would help big time when the plumbing is fixed and the tank re filled.. Good luck..

I guess your definition of responsible is different than mine. IMO a responsible keeper of any type of animals would do what ever it took to rehome a fish they could no longer care for. If it were me in that situation I would have payed for the shipping myself to get my fish to a good home. But I do not buy fish that I can not keep responsibly so that will never happen. It has happened to me with a dog before. And i found it a home and payed for the dogs expense for the owner for a year until they said it was not necessary. When i got out of my apartment they wanted to keep the dog and they did. To me that is being responsible for my action to buy the pet. I guess I could of just killed it! because i had taken good care of it before the mishap. ------------disgusting:irked:
