Prototype purigen reactor model I lol

Peanut butter jar, an eheim quick connect, so can close the pump without the purigen getting everywhere and a small pump i had laying around. I cracked the lid when drling the hole but seems ok. Used the fine mesh bag the purigen came in to hold everything in place. Just tightened the lid over the mesh.
Pump had to go inside the jar because the outlet was rectangular

Gonna build a larger one with this water bottle, two 1/2 inch eheim quick disconnects and a cheap pump i got from amazon.

Doing that right now. Still on hold cause of some stuff going on at home. Using a small jabeo pump with this. You'll need about 3-4liters. View attachment 1238357
Did you ever get the time to build it ?

I just got my 6th liter of denitrate, along with 30 vials of biodigest. I plan to introduce the bacteria to my smaller tanks first, as I haven't completed the filter for the 210.View attachment 1238377 View attachment 1238378 View attachment 1238379
Is the biodigest needed or just a jump start ?
