How many watt is the light? Any idea on what types of leds. 620nm. 640nm 450nm
Up and running as of today. Sorry for Being late to the show. My kids getting fillings and some work issues. Will post some nitrate levels once I get some time. But average nitrate has been around 40ppm. Been doing 80%wc twice a week and sand siphoning once a week.

How much of the pipe is filled with denitrate ?
Just finished the purigen filter. Probably have too much in there (1100 ml ) i can run the pump real low and it will tumble or i can run it a little higher but most of it qill bunch up. Im thinking it doesnt matter if it bunches up sjnce its all if it is getting contact with the water
What do you guys think tumble or it doesnt matter ?
Pump is rated for 120 gph so even at its highest its pretty low flow
The tote holds my sunsun filter. Also In case if there's a leak.
The pump is located toward the top of the tank.
The pipe is filled with 3liters of denitrate. There's was about 1/2 inch space left. Just enough to cap both ends.
I assume the 6 liters of denitrate I'm using is a bit overkill then. I would only use 4ltr, but I discovered 5ltr that I ordered nearly a year ago.
How is the nipple thats connected to the hose placed on the pipe ? Bulk head or something.
The 40gph pump is able to push the water up no problems ?
How tall is the unit ?

The two ends of the pvc pipe were drilled with a step drill. The plastic ends are a barb adapter. It's been siliconed on the thread side. Used hose steel hose clamps and 3/4 tubing.
It's 2 feet tall.
