idk how you're cutting them, but instead of trying to cut the whole base off I believe that drilling a hole that is almost as wide as the base of the inside of that glass might be easier =] and all you gotta do is to fill the glass with water - no constant rinsing of the drilling area ! =) just my 2c ;)

Good luck and keep us posted !

Yea some people have mentioned that but the glass shop said they could cut them if they were thicker.

BBBBUUUUTTTTTT. They just got cut so im about to post a update

UPDATE!!

SO got the vases back today! They were able to cut them just fine, but its odd because the bottom of the vases walls are thinner than the top. I noticed it after I got them back. ( you should be able to see what im talking about in the pics? Anyway, Its not a big deal because the Outside Diameter is still the same size all the way around. SO, as soon as I can get a little cash in my pocket im going to drop off the tanks to get drilled. And then all thats left is make a base for the tanks. Get some glass tops cut, and thats it. The tanks should be around 45 inches long when put together, so I have been thinking about just going with a 55 gallon stand. It should look fine I think. I think im also going to go with a xp1 for filtration and some of these jebo lights.
