Did you just balance the peg board on the vertical pvc? or is there another part holding the pegboard 'down'
It is just setting on the pvc. I did a crappy job cutting the pegboard so I placed the pvc at the beginning so the water would kind of flow over it rather than letting too much go down prior to it making it to the holes and distributing it somewhat evenly. I had the piece at the other end for pretty much the same reason.

Oh okay. I feel like the sheet of acrylic i bought would just slide down the pvc pipe .... ermm ... like the water would be too heavy and it would "sag" in the middle and pull it down. Guess not, I'll fiddle with it more and see how it goes. I'm horrible at cutting things and luckily havent cut the acrylic yet

Nice build. Im planning on doing DIY filtration and found a pretty good plan for both wet/dry and canister filters but dont know which to start with first. More than likely I'm going to do cichlids or might just try my hand with a marine tank. Not sure yet and am currently just trying to find a way to be assured that my 75g bowfront wont explode without a top frame since I cant find a replacement!
