Congrats dude that's an awesome footprint! :headbang2 I'm jealous!

Glad you find the thread useful, when I was looking for info there was pics of the finished thing but no one had the nads to document the whole process and show the "flaws" and issues. I am hoping by doing 3 different installs will help others that search for it down the road.. A build thread on your tank is an absolute MUST!!! PM me when you started and posted up ok?

EDIT: one more thing bro, don't waste time with any other returns than Loc-Line. I used is a few pages ago. I have two lines on the 120 and two "dual" lines on the 300. They are flexable and if your no happy with the flow, nothing is permanent your can adjust it whenever. If your going to see any equipment in the tank, get something classy like black Loc-Line, not a green spraybar.
I fell in love when I saw the tank and then the price $650 for everything brand new!! couldn't pass it up...

Most Definitely!! I'm just glad you did this I was starting to get discouraged when I came across your thread. BRAVO!!!! You gave me hope again...

BTW its "Sis" lol...in your defense I have no pic in my avatar and the username could go either way...lol. I will definitely stay in touch...hopefully pics next week. I will PM you with the thread as soon as it comes through the door.

Also, thanks for the advice about the Loc-Line..after seeing your setup I'd decided to go with them anyway...you're great!!:headbang2:headbang2

Careful with praising our BG Hero with too much flattery. His chest will swell with so much pride, he'll have to purchase new shirts to wear. :D Even though he's a marvelous individual with an eye for detail, conveys and exhibits a professional quality about himself and his craftsmanship with excellent to outstanding results, and an uncanny sense of direction.

But I find he's a HUMBLE man with a caring attitude for his fellow man and MFK members. We ALL are blessed for his willingness to share with us his talents, and his ability and desire to share with us his knowledge. Thank you Justin!

Yeah I have a total man crush on locline. It's not very cheap though. If you look up a saltwater or reef club locally to you those guys usually have tons and will sell used pretty cheap, lookin forward to your build. ;)

Sorry sis! We need more ladies on this site.. When you imagine what I look like, don't think of me as an overweight, tattoed white dude with a pretty wify and two kids.. Think of me as an 18 year old marine. Oh and with abs! Man that would be sweet! lol

Do you like it? I was debating that or going down a local river in a boat scouting for an amazing piece.
I love both of them. It kind of depends on what your trying to accomplish. I wanted this piece because it is designed to sit flush against a tank wall. That's got DIY written all over it lol ;)

No worries...glad to be here. I'm new to MFK(as far as posting goes) and you all have made me feel very welcome.

I'm so excited about my build, I can hardly sleep at night:grinno: I'm driving my husband crazy...he doesn't get it, but let a "58" Chevy Convertible pull in the driveway he'd loose his mind!! (I admit I would too.. luv that car!!).

I'm going to a few LFS this weekend I will keep my eye out on the Loc-Line..thanks again. Keep up the GREAT work!!

BTW...when I think of 18 yr old Marine's I get nervous:ROFL: SEMPER FI!!

You crack me up thank you David! To be fair the only thing filling my shirt these days is a couple extra layers of fat, for the winter of course..

JK47 asked me to post a few pics from his phone and give a little update so here they are!

Background was cut into 4 slices and used tie down straps along with a scrap 2x6 on each end to glue them back together

This one here is the overal design, woodsy, dark rivers edge with a deep sand bed. Just a test fit here not the finished product.

And finally the the 120 in the dining room has lights and inhabitants!!
