The "inpsirational" pic for the 125g. I need to do some work on the tank/stand itself and then move onto making it look like what I want. It a nice little holding tank for now. It's pretty much the oposite of what the kiddies on MFK like but it's right up my (and my fish's) alley. Ma nature at her finest.. ;)

Hmm, that's about the color of the water in my pond right now. Thanks to fall and the millions of pear tree leaves I've been scooping out every day. It looks like I have a pond full of tea...

Thanks guys. This thread is almost done! I took a few pics with no flash this morning so you guys can see where I am at. I've been bouncing around back and forth on each tank so here is an update on each :D

10 gallon: This tank now has a Lifeguard FBF (fluidized sand bed) 300 filter and a 180 GPH pump turning it over. The live plant "sump" behind the background has exploded with new growth. The Laetacara curvicepts pair are already showing signs of courting. This tank will be retrofitted under the 120 gallon stand once I build it.

120 gallon: I still need to buy a 48" T5 fixture and build the stand. The plants are doing very well and growing like crazy. I am going to retrofit a small hydroponic box on top of it and add some plants for an above tank refugium/aquaponics project.. I was very lucky to locate 2 more F0 orinoco Satanoperca mapiritensis for this group. I'm broke now but it was completely worth it. They are doing really well! No signs of spawning yet.

125 gallon: I hate this tank much less now. On the last page I added an inpsirational pic so you guys know where I am going with it. I cannot start it until I move over most of these fish to the 300 gallon. I have a ton of work to do on this tank. I haven't spoke with guys over at DBN yet so I have not ordered the background yet. Clockwork gave me a set of T8 lights for this tank (thanks bro ;) ) . I'll switch out the bulbs with white down the road when I get started on this tank. The orange head geos have already spawned in this holding tank.. All love all the time.. :duh:

300 gallon: Done...(minus moving over filters, sand and fish) The temp is 59.8 degrees right now. I added another 400 watt heater to it this morning. Once the temp is 80+ on it's own, I'll move over the fish and FX5's. I don't want to add warm water and find out the heaters can't keep up. It's been cold here lately and this tank is in the garage. I still need to move around the rocks but I'll wait until the water is warm, I hate cold water lol.. I'll rip out the lame air bubbler thingy when I add the filters. It's just for movement right now. I move around all of my T5 bulbs / fixture to free up the nice 36" one for this tank. I think it looks great and give the lighting exactly like I wanted it..

Now I just get to hrry up and wait. Been trying to help out a few buuddies in the mean time..

awesome job man, where did you find those wild maps?
Thanks Colin! Yeah I quit posting sources of my fish unless I am selling them. I got into it with some butthole in the CA/SA section about "designer fish" and would rather not post than get banned over it lol.

Thanks for inderstanding bro! I can't wait to put them in with the group. The only negative thing is a 120 gallon is going to be too small for 6 long term. I'll probably only get a year out the 120 gallon I just finished.

Looks GREAT Justin! I would never had believed a 10gal could be such a "monster".

Just to let you know, when ever I get my 195gal up and running, look forward to a 10gal and 20gal overhaul in homage to you :headbang2:headbang2
