Just a quick question, Justin. What ever became of this bugger?

Curiousity is killing me! But . . . Did you ever make it to Michaels and find anything useable?

It's there!

Honestly I haven't been able to. Once I get fish in and everything running, I will focus on the scaping. I still need to find a cheaper alternative for the vines as well.

Okay. Thanks. Thought this idea went dead in the water or something. I'm really liking wht you and clockwork have accomplished over the last few days. It's really been enjoyable see the progress come about and all of your tanks are looking great. TTYL. ~David

I've been slacking off, Justin has been going hard on his projects! I'm about to go pick him up to do some stuff.

Justin is always goin' hard at it. He's one of the insanley hard working guy's I know of. And it's been great watching you and him goin' at it together. And another thing, I really can't allow you to call yourself a slacker, either, as I know you've been burnin' the candle at both ends too, on your own projects. So I can't justify the slacker part.
So . . . goin' to go do some stuff, eh. Hmm. Sounds like double trouble at the LFS or a craft shop to me. Have fun and Return with Honor, you two. Drive safe. :D

Just dropped Justin off to his wife and children that were missing him after we worked on my background for like 5 hours. It's about half way installed. Gonna finish it up tomorrow. Thanks Justin!

Oh, by the way bro, you should totally post some pics of your 300 with your setup right now! ;)

I got your back! (my back hurts now though haha!) Your tank is looking sweet! I wish I could have gotten the seams of my BG's that perfect live and learn, it's like we never even cut it!! I hope you start a thread on it, I can't be the only one who would want to see. (<<< for real, do it)

I have four Coralife T5 fixtures and I got a 36" one from my friend "fallin49er" today that I redid it for the 125 gallon. It left my 300 gallon looking pretty sad (black light dorm room style) three T5 fixtures with one actinic bulb.. lol

This tank is cleaning up REALLY well. I'll post the inspirational pics tomorrow. I did my best to get it closer to what I had in my head none the less.

Flash is on but you get the idea while the tank heats up.. So sad... :duh:

Never a dull moment when you two get together, Justin and ACWO. Glad to see ACWO got you home okay and in one piece.

Sore back? Oh, WOW. I hear ya. Broke my lower back in 1991 falling off of a wall top plate in the middle of the Fall season. Rolling scizzor trusses for a vaulted ceiling with a 40 ft span for a great room of a custom build home. Never again, though.

Those Coralife T-5's are going to be real sweet when you get'em set up. The one light fixture you have in the pic of the 125 is styled similar to a 72" I was going to get from Dr.s F&S. It was a tripple light set up for morning, noon, and moon light. But it was big bucks for it ($500 + S&H). Way more than I could afford, but sweet none the less.

Inspirational Pictures???? What in the name of sandy substrate are you talking about? Every picture you post is inspirational. It's always a pleasure reading your updates. Thanks for sharing. :grinno:

I looked for your thread. I was unable to locate it. Are you going to start it tonight or wait until your finished with installing the back ground and then post results? Enquiring minds want to know! ;)

The "inpsirational" pic for the 125g. I need to do some work on the tank/stand itself and then move onto making it look like what I want. It a nice little holding tank for now. It's pretty much the oposite of what the kiddies on MFK like but it's right up my (and my fish's) alley. Ma nature at her finest.. ;)
