epsom salt in-bucket bath dose?

You have the right man for the Job helping you for sure. Id agree with everything Toms said so far. I do have a quick question. Is there any buoyancy issues? Or does the fish settle at the bottom?

yeah, I know Tom's the right guy for the job.
no buoyancy issues. sometimes the fish rests a little near bottom like not feeling great but can swim around.

Ive also seen individual fish that are hit with bacterial issues and no other fish touched.

I just hope it isn't turning serious. never had a fish look like this before.

You could use Kanamycin in both the tank and in a medicated bath at double normal dose (for 30 minutes). Another treatment would be Metronidazole soaked food and Kanamycin in combination. Since we have no clinical way of determining what the cause is sometimes a combination is way to go. But with every treatment and additional medacation the side effects and stress level multiply so I like to start slow if time permits and add if no results are seen. Kanamycin has a very low adsorption rate in the intestine of fish and is the best choice for anarobic gram–negative bacteria and intestinal issues.

No not really. Normal temp it's not like Columnarus or and external infection.

I agree with tom on this one.. Probably the best rout to hit anything internal or externally. Ive done this one before with the epsom with good results.

think I might have to put this fish down, unless can buy some kanamycin from a veterinarian tomorrow. it's swelling up bad, must be bacterial gut.
no pooping.
at first the swelling seemed to be reducing with epsom, but reversed.

all I have on hand is penicillin tabs. don't know if it'd be worth trying to get a bit in her mouth?

now she has developed pine cone dropsy symptoms, in addition to the original extreme bloat.
no pop-eye, but looks much worse.
the only meds I have are penicillin and the salts.
she never crapped with epsom salts.

It looks I should put her down.

Penicillin isn't generaly that effective on fish, however if that's all you have and the fish is that bad off try it. It's not going to make things any worse and might buy you some time. This is usually related to kidney disfunction and fluid retention. Continue with Epsom salt until you can get the Kena then double dose with the Kena on the first round, you can do this in a bucket with and air stone to save money.
