Got it, thanks man. So thats where the aquafilters come into play...You took some time to answer my question, and I appreciate that! Always wanted to do a drip system, but thought it was always too complicated.

Just look at it as a sump type filter, except the fresh water coming in is from a water source and the overflow that would normally feed the filter, drains to waste water, or better yet, collect it and use it to water your plants!!
