Ahhhh I've found a reasonable way to make it work. It will look OK when I finish with that corner.

Its good that you can work around their mistakes its still kinda ridiculous tho that's happened to everyone once who has home depot cut their ply or whatever sheets down

Small update last night. I cut out the other panel for the window, and implemented my bandaid fix for the front panel being too short.

I have no circular saw. I usually use my router for cutting panels, but that wastes wood, is noisy and cumbersome, blah blah blah. It's way easier if HD does it with their $40k panel saw, I just need to start checking each cut.

So many options... I'll be adopting some oscars, my silver aro will go in there, a couple of big plecos, my tinfoil barbs when they get big enough, and I keep playing with the idea of a big ray, but I'd be paranoid about it getting picked on. I'd also like to get a TSNxRTC or and RTC, but an RTC eliminates a lot of possible tank mates.
