Fish Names

Posting this here as it is indeed fish related. We all have that one fish that we named for some reason or another. If you didn't, you are lying or just don't love your fish lol. I wanna see what people named their fish. I've named so many.

My first Black Moore I named Molly as my teacher who gave it to me called it a black molly. (Got a 100% on my spelling test so he gave me the fish and a whole set up thus began my fish keeping hobby)
My first cory's name was Seaking after the pokemon
My first Otto cat's name was Goldeen after the pokemon
My angelfish's name was Angel
My Dwarf frog's name was Froggy
My Algae Shrimp thing was named Dr. Shemp after the Spyro the dragon boss
My Black Ghost Knife's name was Phantom
My Algae Eater's name was Shark
My pictus catfish's name was channeler
Every Severum by themselves is known as Sevvy
My Vampire Pleco is known as the black and white vacuum cleaner(Named by my girlfriend)
My girlfriends Gold Gourami was named Goober
My white betta fish was named Angel(Really a devil spawn)
All of my Red Head Geophagus are know as Geo
My other geophagus was named Jay Jay
My Striped Pike was named Pikey

I'm sure I'm missing some but I think thats most. Lets hear everyone elses fish's names.

I used to have a dovii pair named Ike and Tina as well as a Midas pair named Mack and Cheese.

Sometimes our fish don’t get good names per say, they get creative names...I currently have a goldfish I call Igor, bc he has a hump back. My EBJDs don’t have names either but I can tell them apart, one I call triangle face bc he has a marking that is triangle shaped, one I call bulldog, hump face, ***h@le fish, he’s the boss of the tank and has a hump face, the other one gets called zippy and tiny, he’s the smallest and gets pushed around a lot. My two regular JDs, I call one stumpy bc she is short and fat, and the other one gets called please be a girl...

Most of my fish have very uncreative names like blue,reddy or stripes.
I tried to get other people to name my fish but it rarely work out,for example I got a sun cat and my Cuz named it bubbles,that name didn't stick because he was psychautic and liked to kill things so I renamed him Assassin

Haha, I love naming fish. My husband can’t believe I can remember all their names.

I’ll start with my house fish.
My green terrors- Oliver, Greenie, Oliver’s son and Oliver’s daughter. Those two don’t have real names because I’m not planning on keeping them forever.
The glofish- strawberry and blueberry. Named by the kids since they picked them out.
Green spotted puffer - spot.
Zebra danio - Zorro
Golden longfin zebra danios(2) - the golden girls

The temporary house fish
Koi - Jillybean, Frost, and Sparkles
Black Moore - Shadow
Red capped oranda - Pepper

Pond fish
Shubunkins - Elsa and Anna
Ryukins - Polka Dot and Sven
Koi - Big O (queen of the pond), Sunshine, Olaf, Arendelle (by now you can tell my kids loved the movie frozen), Oreo, Rosie, Garbage, Stitch, Tiger, Tigger, Blizzard, Gwenivere, and Drako.

These are just the fish that we’ve named. A few don’t have names. Such as my plecos and schoolers.

my banded acaras were named after the beastie boys, but only mike d has survived.
