To fishermen in NJ, it seems like I'm on a solo mission tomorrow so If anybody wants to go out on the boat with me just me know!

Well since my nephew backed out on me I went on a solo mission to a spot we call "Mr. Ed spot". Why we call it that comes with a story!
Back in 07 on one of are lake hopping days we were fishing this spot that was new to us in Burlington,NJ. As we were fishing I seen this old dude(Mr.ED) casting a rubber worm SUPER far with very little effort. So I walk up and start asking questions and he said cause its braided line(suffix) thats new out the box. He goes on to let big bruh and I cast a few times and thats the reason why we call it 'Mr. Ed spot"
Since that day we never brought anymore mono!! Suffix all day(P.Pro sucks)!!!
Anyway the day started at 7:15am for me and by 3 I had 13. 12 bass and 1 CP but the CP was the biggest fish I caught and he was only 15"s. I should of quit at 3 but I stayed until 6 tring to find some big girls but that was a failed mission cause I was only able to land 3 more little ones

Decent numbers but no size at all but I had fun on my solo mission!!
PS- Since I didnt catch a picture worthy fish, here is cliff with a decent one he got(BUZZY) at the D&R canal while I was catching little dudes.

Well decided to try out "Carnegie" today. The official new name for this lake is 'The Big Shi***"
The last three times I been here its been SUPER SLOW!! In the early season the fishing was POPPING but since the water temp has been over 70 it has seemed to really hurt the fishing bad.
Any way Dennis and I start out 10am. I broke the ice in about the first 45 minutes but after that we went up about 400ft of shoreline and NOTHING. So we go out in the middle and the fish finder(sallie) says its four fish right behind us in open water. So I stop the motor, cast and slow roll the spinny and BAM I land decent 15"er. Sallie(fish finder) saying its fish there and actually cathing one is very rare I mainly only use it for temp/depth. Back to the BS fishing trip. After that Dennis banged one a dancing eel. From there I landed two more and Dennis landed another. My third was a nice 2.9!!
Not messing with "big shi***" no time soon, give me the "Amazon" all day!!

yeah man last couple times ive been down it sucked soo much. the canal has been slow too. I think im going to close off the season soon with a visit to the 2 acre pond hopefully there will be somthing measurable there for me

Fish landed-I-22, Dennis-3(9-26)
9-25 was a trip back to "Mr.Ed spot). Cliff and I fished for 9 hours and I banged 14 and he missed four. Once again nothing big was out and the only thing that was excitting was catching a crappy that jumped on the spinny!
9-26 was Dennis and I at the "amazon"! It was a VERY SLOW DAY. I think cause the wather changed so quickly it shut them down alittle. Around 2:45 just like the "moon clock" said the bite picked up alittle. I banged two back to back and missed what would have been the biggest of the day(3lb+). I finished with 6 and Dennis got 3.
9-27 was a quicky at "Colonial" for an hour. I banged two on the chatter and missed one the spinny!!
Still looking for that monster!!!
