Then today while first fishing in the boat I thought that I had a really nice fish, but it turned out to be around 3.2lbs approx. (the one I sent you the vid of the catch). And then later on after lunch we were on foot Jersey Jack got one Bass that was 4.10 But that was the largest for the day.

All goes well tomorrow we should have some nice fish and hopefully some hot video of the action to boot. Jersey Jackis picking me up at 6am so that we can be on this hot new spot at first light, Jersey Jack says the topwater bite has be really good there since he found it.

Ok no five pounder but 4.10 is good!!

Fish landed-I-13/Dennis-7

Had a side job cancel so I called Dennis up and at 2:15 the fishing day begun at "Carnegie lake". My first fish was able to jump off but I was able to land the first about 10 minutes later. Dennis finally had his first baitcaster bass on but it too didnt want to be landed. I followed up with another one about 20ft up shoreline. Then as Dennis was stuck in the tree(always) I decided to throw my jig over by this "lay down". Out of nowhere TICK, TICK,and GONE followed but HOOK SET. Reeled in about 10ft and bam fish jumped, fish gone :irked:. I dont catch many on the jig but I will admit its pretty cool but the buzzy bite is WAY better!
So we jump over to the other shoreline that is in the sun. When this is the situation I look for over hangs that provide shade. Well today wasnt any different, I threw the buzzy all the way up on the bank and jumped it into the water. The buzzy didnt travel 2ft before KABOOM a monster 4.2 straight smacked it!! As we fished I plucked off mostly two pounders and better. Dennis also was able to do pretty good today. He landed most of his fish on a 2-4' crankbait(bomber). Also today he was FINALLY able to land a fish on his baitcaster(Pic)!!

13 fish landed with two get aways, which one 4 pounder and a 3 pounder in the mix. It was a great day!!!

Some nice Bass there Terry!

Ok, things got back to normal numbers today. As I stated earlier we went out at 6am and where on the water by 6:40am. Things started off a bit slow but after Jersey JAck picked up a 6.0lbs Bass on a cast over the fence things picked up. When we left the twin lakes we roughly had 16 Bass between us and Jack had the lunker for the morning. After an early lunch we picked up the boat and headed to Dubber lake world famous dubber lake, where the bite was on top water poppers and worming all day long.

JAck started off with a 4 Bass lead using a popper while I tried my luck with the Spinnerbait. After the fouth Bass came up I switched over to chugger with little results as there was alot of plant matter in the water. So I then tried on a Spro popping frog, and just tore the Bass up. As those that saw the video Jersey JAck can't fish with a Frog to save his life. If you get to see the video you'll know who the frog'N Bass King is, I caught 4 Bass in the next five cast.

The total for the day between us was me 20 Bass, JAck 24 Bass and Jack also got the lunker for the day. After JAck dropped me off, I jumped in the shower and later decided to drive by this pond where I had seen a couple of blow ups earlier. In about 15 minutes I had caught three Bass to approx 4++ I didnt have a scale with me :irked:.

Jack caught the first four Bass this morning in a power play (I had dropped my keys and pliers) near the truck and had to return to the
truck to search for them. Mean while JAck just knocking the Bass dead. When I returned Jack was leading with 4 Bass to my none. And it
pretty much stayed that way, until we broke for lunch score JAck 10 me 4. But I jsut blow at fishinf especially topwater fishing from a Kayak :irked:.

And here's what it looked like after lunch where I nailed 2 nice Bass on a Frog and the 3 on a rattletrap and JAck only was able to catch a one eyed Tilapia and tiny Bass. But he made a come back later at a pond in my developement, by catching 2 more Bass for the lead again, but late on around 6:30pm I went out a hit to more Bass at a pond 3 minutes away. The second one was a nice 2lbs Bass and the first one was a Monster that hit my Frog 3 seperate time before I could get a good hook set. Approx 4lbs Bass below.

Sorry forgot the good camera at home. But was able to measure it later, measurement 23 inches,
Approx 6.5lbs to 7.0lbs. Sorry Terry I know I said 5 pounder everyday but it's hard to catch Bass that small all the time here.
