Why? What's wrong with other fish you have?

Port Clinton Ohio- Trolling at 1.3 MPH using deep diving Husky Jerks behind in-line planner boards ( You can see my boards in the on water, in the photo with my friend) Because the water is still cold and were relatively in shallow water 25-30 ft. deep. were only running the lures between 35ft. and 45 ft. behind the boards. The jig bite is real crazy right now. Guy's are catching their limits of jacks(Males) in 30 min- hour. They are a bit smaller than the females , that alot of guys troll for. Some have been spawned out. It's nice to keep a few, but releasing the larger females is always best. IMO.

not familiar at all with planar boards, looks like an interesting concept. Have seen some people use them for cats and stripers too. Nice work on those walleyes for sure. You obviously know what you're doing.

trying to catch a ride with a guy from Catfish1 out on his boat this weekend down on the Ohio river to chase some blue cats.

You're unlikely to find a more courteous guy ;) Its unfortunate that it will take about $60 round trip in gas to drive there! If that doesn't work out, then I will probably just head down to my new flathead hole and throw out some cut shad and maybe one live bait and hope for some channels and maybe get a flathead to bite.

well, I did some work this morning and went fishing before I have to go to my other job at 5. Landed 7 bass with the biggest one pictured and caught 2 that size. Most were around 12". This is the pond that I catch my bait bluegill in and occasionally some channel cats. Its very small, but holds a few 3-4 lb bass and is always good for some quick and fast action.

A lot of reports of flatheads floating in from local areas... About time to get me one!

I don't think it's possible to out fish this particular pond. I only take maybe 50 a year from there since I catch most under the dams near where I'm fishing but you can almost walk across the lake on bluegill there haha. If I deplete them, I can always use the surplus of 12" bass ;)
