Wont be going to the Ohio River this weekend, the rivers that I fish are tributaries and they are starting to go down, but all that water is raising the Ohio in a hurry and wont be down in time for the weekend. That being said, Ill go to my new flathead spot and give it a try and settle for some channels and drum if I need to.
im sure you can find another empty lot or park along the river with decent access for fishing, channel cats here in lakes are shallow right now and on fire, so you may able to try that.
Wen't fishing today although they expected me at school for a trip to Amsterdam.
It's a 2hour busdrive to Amsterdam and it was the hottest day from March.
It was basically choosing between a total 4hour busdrive to visit some museums I've already visited in my life, or go fishing in the sun and enjoy the outdoor life.
That decision was easily made,and I hope they wil go easy on me for not showing up.
Went dead-bait fishing with some friends.
Although we had nibbles on the baitfish all day,we didn't catch the nibbler.
We did caught Roach,Bream and Perch about 70 in total,but nothing above 12inch.
Really enjoyed the sun and being out in nature,didn't had the time to go fishing for an entire day for awhile.

Cleaned up over the weekend. Went for 3 hours on Sat. Caught 7 LMB between 3-6 pounds and an a 8 pound carp accidentally snagged lol. Anyone want to guess what the lure was? It will blow your mind haha
nope, even better...a Texas Rigged Banjo minnow bwahahahaha dead serious. Wife thought it would make a "Nice stocking Stuffer"....she said the video sucked her in haha
