For some odd reason, many threads arise on a regular basis about keeping gars with cichlids or people post about keeping them together; they get kind of old after the first few especially after people go and try the combination anyway and come back to say that it failed miserably, that's all.
it gets very old. just use the search feature. its not hard. once you get used to it it becomes very usefull.
