My carpintis "escondido" bred with a female flowerhorn that was given to me. I kept one offspring just for the heck of it and fed the rest to my RTM. the result was similar to that one above but the spangling was bigger and it took on the FH body shape with the Carps color. It ended up looking like a spangled trimac. That was actually one of the most owner responsive fish I've had. She would take food out of my hands. Long story short I have none of the three fish parents or offspring. I gave her to a flowerhorn collector at my gym.
