FlowerHorn and Texas Cichlid mates?

Hello fish lovers... I was one of the fortunate that got to keep one of these and is been almost a year and this is where we at!! Thanks again to my BUD for the hookup...

That is a great looking fish!
 
My carpintis "escondido" bred with a female flowerhorn that was given to me. I kept one offspring just for the heck of it and fed the rest to my RTM. the result was similar to that one above but the spangling was bigger and it took on the FH body shape with the Carps color. It ended up looking like a spangled trimac. That was actually one of the most owner responsive fish I've had. She would take food out of my hands. Long story short I have none of the three fish parents or offspring. I gave her to a flowerhorn collector at my gym.
 
good lookin fish this should be in the hybird section but no biggie

your large texas is a hybrid a very good lookin one

i will be cool to see what the fry look like they will either be great lookin or nothin special hope they turn out great that FH may put some cool colors in em
 
thanks guys.. yes it is a hybrid but the thread was started about his parents.. just updating.. but we have big plans for him.. doing great so far.. I got a pic of my FH in FHthrowdown thread.. he's pretty colorful..
