Those are some awesome pics P4P. What kind of gear are you using? That reel looks real nice!

Thanks XechoX. The reel isnt very good, it is made out of really thin metal and it bent a bit when someone stepped on it. It isnt even a disc drag reel though! It is my stream rod and reel. The rod is a 3/4 wt 6 foot long and is awesome. The line is 5 wt but i will change it to a 1 weight soon. Today i am going to by a 5-6 wt fly combo at cabellas for 59 bucks!!! It comes with a grapphite rod, 5 wt line a disc drag reel and backing.
Just fished a few rivers in south dakota but didnt catch anything.

Today i am going to by a 5-6 wt fly combo at cabellas for 59 bucks!!! It comes with a grapphite rod, 5 wt line a disc drag reel and backing.

That's the same combo that I have. I did buy another reel though, because the one it comes with in the kit is pretty small. I bought a Cabelas brand Prestige reel. The reel that comes in the kit I believe is the Three Forks reel.

Those are some nice fish! What did you catch the browns on?

The first Apache was on a dry - parachute Adams #18 during a late hatch.

Brown was on a bh bugger with a John 3:16 globug dropper (John 3:16 was what I named it after the guy with the funky colored afro in the bleechers who used to hold that sign) ---

Bought the 3 forks combo, a prestige three reel loaded with backing , fly line and leader along with a four piece rod for only 65 bucks!!!! the guy was generous it should have costed MUCH more. i am really happy with it. BTW i got the 8 wt. I was in parker, 30 minutes away from sioux falls on the vermilion river
