Sorry second photo didn't load first time I looked at your post. First gar is a Florida, the second photo looks like it might be a longnose. A clearer pic from the side would provide more info.

the mouth makes me think its a alligator gar but not 100%

At the fish store now it's about 8 or 9 inches, it's advertised as an alligator gar for 60 just looking for confirmation
