He was sold to me as a Needlenose Gar with a max size of 1.5' but I am beginning to have my doubts. If he is a spotted or long nose like I am suspecting I am going to have to rehome him. I am so sad!View attachment 1219817 View attachment 1219819

That is definitely a Longnose Gar; can easily grow over 1.5' even in captivity (but of course very unlikely to reach near the "72 inch wild max").--

Where can I get spotted gars I don't know how to make a new post so I figured I would ask here at least it is a start
