Probably Florida gar at ur lfs. Most available and without a known catch location.

hello, i am newbie in general as fish keepers and decided to pick 1 baby gar out of my lfs but dont have any idea what kind of type is this, appreciate any information, thanks.

i've watched him/her swallow 3 goldfish so amazing lovely fish )))

I mean...you'd have to have a a huge pond or lake to keep. But arapaima can be a good tankmate.

Aba aba wouldn't be a good tankmate. Too aggressive.

right now i have nearly 5k gallon (6.3 m x 2m x 1.5m) place to keep them but i can increase its width to 4 metres (6.3 m x 4 m x 1.5m) to house nearly 10k gallon water. i plan to keep 2 gator gars (i found out they are cute as fish), 1 arapaima, and i dont know if aba fish become hostile to fish bigger than its size.
will keep them for at least 10 years if possible,

Dota 2 player by any chance?

@arapaimag keeps an aba in a 5k gallon compartment of his 15k gallon tank and it kills whatever gets in there

anyway just bought her a mate, unfortunately she ate 1 of my albino redfin shark, though i've stocked her with goldfishes



guess my last friend will be a baby arapaima then, thank you for those further information
