Gar Identification - Post your Gar to be ID'd HERE!!

Please ID this gar - its in need of rescue.
 
heyy uhm i cant get a good pic of my gar but one of them is a florida spoted gars about 2 feet long n idk wat the other one is.could u help me id it? it seems to have changed to a white colouration almost looking like platnum
 
The markings and fins make me think shortnose gar.

To give a little more information, shortnose gar are highly variable in their pattern. Most lack markings but some can retain the lateral line from when they are smaller. Some Florida gars can appear relatively patternless though.

The dorsal and anal fins are roughly perpendicular which is typical of shortnose and longnose gars. In Florida gars they are typically more offset.

Given the spots on the caudal fin, the atractosteus genus can be ruled out as they would have horizontal stripes on the tail.
