Gar Identification - Post your Gar to be ID'd HERE!!

Someone has a Florida gar and a Spotted gar for sale. The picture I'm posting is of what he says is a true Spotted gar-he can't provide any info on where it came from. What do you think?

Ah, okay. The site doesn't seem to like the Gmail image for some reason; try downloading the image and attaching it to a post.

Okay, it worked that time.

In lieu of knowing where it's from, I'd say that it's a Florida gar; I don't know the subtle nuances to look for in order to ID it based on the picture alone. If he can provide the location that it's from and/or who he got it from, then a case could be made for it being a true spotted gar.

Can anyone ID this guy for me? Took him in as a rescue, original owner gave him away with a tank to one of my friends who was just going to release him. I'm thinking it's a florida but I'm nowhere near for sure.
