after that site It completely confused me because I was so sure that it was a florida, still kind of am but you know
that just pushed me to jump on here finally. right now im away on vacation so I cant snag some new pictures for everyone so all I have are my older ones. Friday I should be able to get some more if it is still needed. sorry for the angle lmao!

No problem but if the snout is wider and shorter than ur normal flg u have a shortnose. And that coloring screams short nose in my opinion.

huh? the different between shortnose and FLG isn't just the snout, there also body shape, fin shape, and pattern(although they can have similar pattern when young)

it is a Florida gar! That site isn't really good at the moment and I don't really know why Solomon haven't update that site for so long after he done some reworks on it(probably too busy with research work).

Two new gars, supposed to be florida but one is striped the other is spotted.

the one with stripe seem to be a young one, normally the stripe will turn into spots pattern when the fish grow older but in some gar the spots will be big enough and touch into a line like a stripe.
