will do! it wont be till later down the road when i move and get financially stable. BUT! i will fill you in on updates when i do bro! i also plan on getting a fire eel and arowana. and two peacock basses. that should be pushing the limits of a 250, but we will see.

ask him where he got the fish from, it might be a potted gar as there was a guy who sell young spotted gar in Michigan. He is also a gar researcher that researched spotted gar for his Doctoral degree.

Photos aren't working for me, but how does he look in comparison with your other gar?

as of right now they are attached to one another. lmao! could be though that they are cheking each other out. this is the first gar the punisher has meet (Florida gar). so he is either excited or pissed off. but they seem to be enjoying each other. the seller had a 7 inch cichlid pike and told me story's of how that 7 inch pike would boss this gar around so seems like he is friendly from the story's hahaha. i also purchased a arowana today! woot woot!
size difference is huge. this gar is as fat as a soda can! he looks extremely healthy, length is killing me because it making me want to move that much sooner so i can give him a bigger tank!

THANKS GUYS! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. I was guessing Florida cause I found out their availability over true spotted, and also it's pattern is more similar to florida gar. Any idea of the size these guys max out in aquaria? I know they get way bigger than true spotted gar
