Geo Balzani from Rapps on the way....post your Balzani pics!!!!

Your's look great by the way, and will just keep getting more impressive as they pack on size. If you would like to keep other fish with them then consider a group of cories like fug202 suggested, and of course other species of Gymnogeos are a great idea as well.

I am definitely gonna start preparations to host a cool down period. However, I really dont wanna remove my CL's as I have had them for so long and they are a great group. I believe the BN plecos can tolerate the cool down. I also have my wifes mutany parrot fish in there as well. I would think they may be able to tolerate it as well as long as I do it slowly. I already dropped my tank from 80' to 76'. Any other suggestions in regards to my CL's. I suppose I could setup a 20 long for several onths for the other tankmates.

As I stated earlier, Jeff Rapps suggested that these particular fish do not require a cool down period as they have been TR several generations. I recently reached out to him in regards to this very concern. I ama hoping that there is some truth to this. However, if not, I will have consider a temporary tank for the other tankmates.

I am feeding these guys bloodworms, NLS 1mm pellets, algae wafers, and Hikari gold. Any other suggestions?
