In a 150 Gallon tank 72" x18" x 27" I am planning to have 5 Geophagus Altifrons. Should I just keep them by themselves or would they do better with dithers? If other fish fine and/ or beneficial, what would you suggest?
Hi, thank you! Are there any that you would recommend? In what numbers?I personally would just do the five Geophagus Altifrons and add a group of tetra also a group of Cory .
Do you know of a supplier that would select females? Yes, I have no interest in breeding. It would be great if you could get mostly females to keep aggression down.
I personally like Columbian blue tetra. Most tetra species will be fine with the exception of Buenos Aires which can be nippy and Exodon. Most Cory but some come from cooler regions.Hi, thank you! Are there any that you would recommend? In what numbers?

I like the C. Sterbei, that variety does well with my discus. A dozen, also?
