Sahweet... Super tank there, really nice. I really love the fact that you used live plants in it. The more I see tanks like that the more I get closer to getting one. When you say 10x4x2.5 the 2.5 isn't the height is it? it's the depth?

Anyway that is truly a beautiful tank, driftwood and live plants, blue back ground and sides Awsome truly awsome.
I totally agree. This is definitely an awesome tank :)

Tequila brother, I believe 2.5 is the height... with 4 being the depth... large enough to plant at ease and create a truly amazing aquascape... :)

Done a 50% water change and fixed the buzzing problem in one of the canisters (well, switched it off and back on and the noise stopped). :) Didn't get the Aquaclay - the weather is so crap that I didn't feel like going out... will try that during the week or next week-end...

I've removed all the rocks and driftwood that was in the tank... there's only the gravel now... that sure makes it easier to vacuum...

And back to normal, I really do love the look of the tank and it's a great aquascape, but I really don't like the blue background, I guess it's just a personal thing and noiesmo, I mean no offense by that.

You seem to be growing a wall of plants at the back and the sides to frame the look just nicely(and hide the blue;)), this will take it from amazing to fantastic, again just IMO

So refreshing to see a gg in a tank that dwarfs the fish:) It'll be interesting to see when it realizes that plants = food:drool:

I'm seeing that you use bulkheads in your tank for your water ins and outs... can you provide close-up of these? I'm really interested in those... (as Yanbbrox mentioned, I have a filtration fetish ;))

The weather has gotten worse today... it seems that it's gonna be a rotten week-end... :(

He'll have sleepless nights if you don't get the pictures up:ROFL:
And :headbang2on the bad weather in Mauritius(our mini 4 day heat wave is over and it's rainy here too;))

When a kick doesn't do it a simple pc fix will do, when in doubt switch it off and on again;)

Missed the multi quote on that one, Lou, it's going to be really interesting to see that one with the weird jaw get very big, it's so odd both sides are equally deformed, they are looking really good now, good work.

I'm trying like mad to get a close up of the teeth on George but well simply I not as good with a camera as Lou:( Dollar is still alive after George's olympic hammer practice sessions, still in the tank of marbles, alas it seems not to be responding to treatment:(, discus dieing, car's broke again, I must be on holiday again, oh that's right I am and what do I decide to do install sp3, I may be some time:irked:

Whoa! That tank is incredible! 10 x 4 x 2.5... this is what would have been perfect for my pacu... such a pity I'm on the first floor and weight is a problem... :(

I really love the decor of your tank, my friend :) It's really awesome :) Now that's a tank that would have deserved a MFK sticker :)

And, as you are in Australia, you could even have a Barramundi in it! ;) What do you say, Bruce? ;) A platinum one just like in your avatar maybe ;)

Thanks heaps Loulou.

I'd Luv a MFK Sticker for my tank, Yeah come on Bruce, you gotta send me a sticker, I'd even buy one ;)

Yeah Barra and Saratoga are pretty cool, my fav would be the Saratoga Jardini. I just fear a barra or jardini would eventually eat some of my tank's inhabitants. lol

Here's a shot of the bulkheads, the filtration isn't completed yet.

I'll update when my new systems completed in the next couple weeks, just organizing a new sump.

When you've finished indulging Lou in his filtration fetish, full tank shots would be:cool:

Keep the pleco as the main shot but keep the gg in the same shot to keep on topic;)

Hi Yanbbrox. No probs, I'll get some more shots next week and post for you. :)

Thanks, that's ok Yanbbrox. I had intended to do a diy background to hide the blue but it hasn't happened :( I am hoping the plants will eventually hide the background and the GG won't realize the plants = food
