GIANT gouramis

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Please help me, I need someone to help me. please someone make me an offer for my RTGG's and I'll throw in the rest of the fish if you want them. I'm tired of them plus I think that I will be moving come this winter, so it's time to move on to another place with new fish and a new tank hopifully larger. I will consider any reasonable offer.

Can any of you help me?I have a 27 inch giant gourami.I would like to move him to a bigger tank, but i'm not sure how to go about it.he's huge and i don't want to shock him.any advice on how to go about it ?

Remove all items ie driftwood, big rocks etc then drain as much water as you can from the tank. Make sure tha you have a large enough net, that you can scoop him up in and then double over, it sounds as though you may need more than one person. Carefully but quickly transfer him over to the larger aquarium. Make sure that the larger aquarium has NO items in it either, nothing for him to crash into and hurt himself. Please make sure that the tank lighting is off, and stays off for the first day or so. Make sure that both tanks have the same temps and PH, to help in lowering the chance of stress do to changes in chemistry. Make sure that the tanks top is secure, as these big guys like to leap when scared. You can also power feed your fish a few day prior then wait a day or 2 then make the move and don't feed for 2 days after and leave the light off and don't approach the tank during that time. Also note that having the larger aquarium half full or empty depending on which way you look at it, and filling a few days later can't hurt and may prevent the fish from attempting big leaps, and ripping through the water in a rage. I wish you the best of luck, for I know how my fish act when they get spooked.:nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly::nilly:

does that include tank.if so,what size?and where you at?

Nah the tank isn't worth it weight, it needs to be resealed pretty badly, though it isn't leaking yet. I have had this tank for more than 10 yrs. No the offer is just for the RTGG's and I give away the rest of the fish, if the buyer wants them.
