Let me guess grumpy 'means' something else over there, how you got 'I'm yours' from the that I've know idea
Odd situation in the gg tank, came home from work to find the plec that is never seen(lives under the internal filter) with it's fins all shredded, I've treated the tank and separated it, just one of those things I guess, time will tell.....

Hmmmm I see over there you people spell Mr. Grumpy - like this -"My Grumpy" ok that makes sense to me now. That where I got I'm yours from dude. But I forgot you guys over there spell your English differently than the rest of the English speaking World.
Not too worry too much, whilst I was away my RTGG's tore the head of a long time tank mate - the lone Female Anglefish. Now the males have know reason to battle anymore. Their lives are now sort of meaningless, I figure they'll op'ed out of life soon, as they barely eat now. But at this rate the RTGG's days are numbered. The local power company has announced a rate increase of some 14%-25%. Add that to all the regular events of daily fights that kick a gallon or so out of the tank each time, coupled with everytime they feel spooked they splash more H2O out of the tank. Plus there now consuming 2 heads of romane lettuce per week along with all the other premuim fish food the eat. And I really don't have the time to go out digging earthworms for them to slam down. Then add to all this all the recipes I've seen lately for them and someone better take them off my hands soon.

Sounds like you need a new home for them real quick. Is there not a local aquarium you could donate them to?

Donate them too? Hahaha I mite as well eat them. Last time I went to the NY Public Aquarium, the kids I took where so disappointed in 2/3 of the place that the disgust I felt for the whole place and it's condition, kinda even things out. The only reason I didn't march straight to there office and demand our money back is because we got in for free. That place used to be my favorite place to go to see exotic fish and marine life.
Now the only tank they used to use for S. American display has an Iggy and two Tortioses in it. Along with a half dozen Waterbugs that share there food dish with!!!!!
And as far as an Commercial Pet/Aquarium to give them too I mite as well try too sell them myself for a few bucks or eat them most shops here. Including to ones that sold them don't want anything to do with them now that there half grown.

Mad world, considering that Lou for example, could easily keep them in his tank regardless of the problems you are having yet yourself needs to make a choice due to cost based on where you live, the way of the modern world I guess.Tequila;1975520; said:Donate them too? Same hear, at £1.30 and rising for a litre of diesel, changes need to be made just to live, priorities change, at this rate I may even have to quit smoking
