Glad it seems to be doing better, since the quick introduction of tank mates ours has switched back on into feeding, three times a day and no signs of stopping

hi gavin.. he was bout 2.5 years old when i took those pics, he was about 55 cms long and 30cms deep... always eat of my hand... neva even nudge any other tankmates,... i didn't know why i sold him...someone came and gave me cash... should've think twice..

After 3 weeks of fasting, food is good again and s/he is eating like a horse, it used to do this in mini cycles when it was smaller but these cycles have increased a lot since the size has grown. It will go mad for food for a month or so then fast and then go nuts again???

I Know exodons can be a pain in this thread as they are a relative unknown in captivity

Without the aide of just a few half bad photos I can only guess that theres a 77% chance that it's a female, but I maybe very wrong sense I have never seen a living one in person that someone who knew what they where talking about ID as Male or Female.

Not much cheese these days, been having a few moments like yours recently with other fish feeding out of it's mouth, been feeding mainly mixed frozen foods, gone off the veggies all together, don't know why but it's in a major feeding mode and will eat anything. Huge blocks of it which gives the others a good chance, been laying off the food recently as it never got ate.

One moonlight did get a bit a close for comfort the other day and promptly got slammed against the side of the tank, had to put it down other wise it would have ended up as food.

I'd get up a better shot but for two things, it's growing so quick all it's fins are ripped as they can't keep up with the growth plus I was planning on importing LOULOU to take them but I only got one number on the lottery
