Is there is a differences between male and females by how long the fins are? i got a pair really young gouramis and one has a longer body and longer fins while my other one is a shorter body and and has shorter fins

Not that I know of. I have a female that fins and coloration make it look very much like a male but she is still a female at least until the sex change operation that is.
