Looking good boggy. I've got one from the same batch as well growing out at the moment and I honestly can't tell what it is either. There is far more red than there should be to be EEGG, like you say everything is wrong for an RTGG.

Yours has healed up well, is the dorsal going to be split for life do you think?
Probably doesnt bother me, apparently the other day after i moved all my fish around my 9" Cichla had this gouramis head in his mouth hes healed well since then and are friends...

Will be nice to see what they turn out like.

the one i got as an EEGG has a lot of red but wrong body shape compaired to the RTGG that ive kept and seen

You and Yanbbrox know that not all red roses start out red or with the same number of peddles but in the end a red rose by anyother name is still a red rose right. Of all the GG I have ever seen only RTGG have redtails and fins. Call them what you want but they still look like RTGG to me. Sort of like Yanbbrox making the statement that this fish expert told him that only EEGG have teeth. And my late great male RTGG having a set of falsy glued in just to make me think, Hmmmm what was that experts name.

I don't want to start an argument here this is supposed to be a discussion

What argument dude, I'm discussing if I was arguing I wouldn't be replying to more than one person at a time. C'mon dude you know I never argue, I just make statements. Though I will admit that arguing with you is rather fun, but I don't argue. I eat alot of popcorn - I don't argue, my mouth is away full of popcorn how could I argue?

I'm going home now to throw away the fish head, since knowone asked for any extra shots or anything it's time to dump the head. On the next fish I'll split the whole fish and do a total profile shot.

Well you've taken shots from every conceivable angle, best get rid before it's start to smell bad. Again thanks for taking the time to share them:)

Well the others - the 2 females are now ripping the lone male apart. Came home last night and the little tender area that was just like a scaped scale or two. Has grown to all but a RIP!, The ladies just don't like this male at all. They grew tried of him picking at them and chasing them and well it's becoming visable that there going to Rip him a new something. Right in the area where the long lower fin creases is where the ladies have been Ripping him up. More on this as it developes.

It always has been the 'problem' fish, if they end up killing it you never know you might want to keep to peaceful females ;)
