Yer the pond will be a Trop' pond , not completly build yet but soon will :) . For my Silver Arowana , 4 line Pim's , Oscar and maybe acouple more large fish that i find .

about 750 Uk Gal's
Nice, indoor or outdoor?

Indoor . . . . . Sort of !

Well in a shed outside in my back garden , Insulated walls floor and roof , then it will be a raised pond of them dimensions raised about 3/ 3.5foot with insulated walls heated with a 1K Watt exturnal pond heater and filtered with ever 2 medium sized Uv pond filters or 1 large DIY water butt filter .

Have I posted in a thread of yours promising a filtration idea that I've not come up with yet? Sorry it's been a long day

Questions please...... Why do you need 2 UV's for an indoor pond? and depending on your location on earth, I think you should be thinking more along the lines of a chiller/heater or you may end up with cooked fish in the summer time. But I just don't understand the need for UV's in an indoor pond unless theres a skylight over the pond.

Its not that i need the Uv filters , its just that what i have had a look at on the internet and that they are cheap , nothing is final , i might not get the Uv's its just what i have been looking at to get an idea of prices . I have not gone out and bought anything yet , i am just looking at prices . I have also so said that that i might do just one large DIY filter ( out of a Water Butt ) instaed of buying the two Uv filters which will mostly likely not have any Uv part on it .

About the heater that i have seen which is a 1K Watt pond heater - i would like to have a exturnal heater and the only one i have seen is the 1K Watt pond heater , but i have not had another look on the internet for them so when it is time to buy the heater i will firstly have a nother look before buying the 1K ' heater and have a see if they is anything cheaper and that is more sutible of the size of pond i am currently building .

If i go down the route of making a DIY filter i might look at the option of buying a couple of inturnal tank heater and placing them into the filter .

i am only at the stage of making the the frame of the pond right now and i am still looking , researching the parts i need ,
things like the Pumps , Heater's , Size and thinkness of linner , Ect . . .

After several weeks the tank is finally starting to clear
