Yanbbrox since when is Banana a hard fruit? And why would anyone even think of putting Mango in there tank that they complain isn't clean enough now. I'll agree with you Yanbbrox, that there needs to be a change in feeding habits, I just don't agree with what you wanna change it too. You wanna feed your RTGG Monkey Mix as a occasional treat thats one thing but, stick too leafy green stuff that won't break down in the tank and start rotting and causing problems as soon as it hits the water. You get all this cr@p in your filter and before you know it you have a compost pile going in it, with more trouble coming out of your filter than is going into it.

I think you misread, I was using banana as a bad example of feed, for breaking down at the bottom of the tank, kinda of like the way cheese does

Didn't miss the Turkey-dog, just figured that with all the preservs in something like that, hey not my fish. See this is why I can eat my fish without concern, I never fed my fish preserve filled Turkey/Saugages etc,. And I don't use chemicals in my filters either,, I just tell everyone else too, lol

The Banana is an every once in awhile treat as with the bit of hotdog. Most of the time it's greens, roaches and pellets. The other possibility is me noticing this all of a sudden is that my other tanks all have sand substrate and this tank is gravel. The instant gratification of cleaning sand is great. My Gourami is also going through a eat everything and anything phase. I have only had him about 3 months and he was very skittish and not eating much. I guess he is settled in now and showing mw what GG's are all about. Thanks for the feedback guys!

By the way if it's of any help to you all my RTGG seem like they wait too cr@p as I'm refilling the tank after a WC. It thinks it the fresh clean and sometimes cooler water that makes them just relax and release everything in the gut.

My GG seems to sit under the return water like a shower for the fish, weird

Just sceen a great looking pink GG in my LFS on Friday .

Never got a chance to get a picture never noticed a pice on her too .

About 15inch if not bigger , looked great no damage to her swam good , really want her for my pond .

Never thought about asking fro aprice as i know i couldnt get her as my tanks a little too small for her but when i got home i was thing if i got her i could put her in my pond when that is finished .

How much do you think she would be if i went back to get her ?

I know price change depending what shop you go in but just an aveage price please , might have to go back next week to check the price myself , i do really want her now , she looked great .

I say 'she' cos' of the pink but it could be a male .

Roughly about £50-100. I know that's a wide range but these fish tend to get cheaper as they get bigger as housing them at larger sizes is a pain.

Is the pond tropical?

Yer the pond will be a Trop' pond , not completly build yet but soon will . For my Silver Arowana , 4 line Pim's , Oscar and maybe acouple more large fish that i find .
