thanks, never thought about that. suggestion even came with a pic, SWEET! nice photochopin skills!! now where do i find eggcrates?
i will be purchasing some scrubbies soon, know of anyone to hook me up?
Go to the "lighting" section at Home Depot and look for the
"drop ceiling lights" they are actually called "light defusers" for drop ceilings.
Just ask the help for a light defuser for a drop ceiling floresent light fixture.

And when ever you are ready for SCRUBBIES just PM me with your Zip code and amount needed...;)

doesnt the elongated head give away its a female? i notice female rtgg at 25-30cm+ have the elongated head (slope between head and dorsal fin)

hey george, how old is ur rtgg? size?

Amazing development, after all the concerns that george would easily kill georgina in no time, the opposite has started to happen, George has a few nibbled fins today. Will monitor the situation

I gotta say that it looks more to be a male to me, my females had much narrower lips, plus they did not have such a pronounced head bump. As for my tank I'm still think about what I want to do. I may just buy a new tank or build one and use this one as a reptile tank. Right now I have many things on back burners and I really don't need another one.

hey tequila, u got a pix of ur female?

wat size?

I have a few pix around here somewhere. I'll have to dig them up and try to re-post them. The males at the time of there deaths where roughly 18~20 inches and the females where a little smaller I think, about 15~17 inches. I'll look and see if I made any notes of there sizes, weight and or how they where prepared.:nilly:

dont really know how old georgie is, but i adopted him on x-mas for last year. by eyeball, georgie looks to be about 13 inches
