Thanks !! They aren't really aggressive. Some intimidation but no injury !! They were more aggressive when they were about 20 centimeters but now they are calm even if they need a bigger tank.
You start looking into mega monster tanks to make them co-exist long term, glad things are working out.

Any more details? tank size etc?. Looks a little cramped, could be just the pictures?

You've got a boy there for sure. Great job on the rescue, incase you didn't know RTGG.

No such thing as rescuing a GG, if anything your the one that will need rescuing. The best way to rescue these fish require a some lemon, olive oil, basil and a nice 350400 degree oven.

thanks Yanbbrox for the confirmation. yeah the tank is a lil' cramp for him. will be getting a 6ft tank once my apartment is ready towards end of the year. currently he is in a 4ft tank.

tequila - my domestic helper, who is from one of the remote island in Indonesia actually asked me if she can cook the fish if its dead!! she claimed to have eaten a sweet and sour golden coloured arowana back home.

he is really rescued from an old school pond thats about to be demolished.

"domestic helper" Just wondering if a foreign helper would be called an Alien Helper, Hmmmmm. Anyway, she is right they are very tasty. Especially deep fried. And probably easier and cheaper too raise, but this country is hung up on Tilapia and Catfish. Pacu people say taste like porkchops. Snakeheads are good eating too.
