GIANT gouramis

in asia they are bred in ponds and if they are like the smaller goramis you might have to lower the water level it might be in Axelrods book jumbo fish hmmm gonna have to look

oh and the top pics is a 90 gal to give you an idea of the size and they are quite a bit bigger now

Great pics and very nice Osphronemus you got there Hemi!

Can we get some updated pics? Are they 24" yet?

they are getting close I'll try and get some pics this weekend. If thats your RTGG in you avatar Cohazard I really have to get some!!

HEMI - I don't know if that's his, but actually CoHazard and I have been talking about butting heads to get these guys bred in the USA, and yes, that's what they look like :)

santory- its in the book jumbo fish by Axlrod and its just a caption under a pic of a rtgg and the book is older so there not much else I can tell you as the book doen't give much in the way of info mostly his personal experiance with GG in asia

My avatar is not my RTGG but that is what the quality specimens look like.

I've been putting off posting some pics of my two juvies, mainly because they look like all other juvies out there, but I'll put it on my to do list for the weekend.

I'll get a vid of them destroying some lettuce too... along with a surprise fish eating the lettuce too! ;) (been busy with work, but I've been wanting to share this on the net)

Awesome! Can't wait!
