i don't think its a third species. i think its a variant of one of the two. I'm leaning towards a rib variant but i could be wrong.
ok, so this has been up for debate for a long time as well, my only questions are
1.) when was Aquidens changed to Andinoacara? and
2.) Does anyone have pix of the 3rd species, the Silver Saum?
See, now I was told the true Green Terror has white trim, so that's what I would have pinned as a true GT, but it clearly looks much more like a Saum, IMO
Isn't Aequidens Rivulatus the true GT?The Andinoacara Rivulatus is the Golden Saum. Note the black spot is in the centre of the scale whereas the Andinoacara Stalsbergi is the actual GT, also note that it's scales are ringed with black as in a net.
