Well, I must say I am disappointed no one came up with that snake,
it is the Striped Kukri snake ( Oligodon octolinatus) of Malaysia and is fairly common though seldom seen, and as I said, is found within the city of Singapore. It reaches just over 27" long. (the picture was by Yeo Swee Chang)
How about something a little different, this large lizard is critically endangered.
Softturtle has it right, it is the Jamaican iguana, there are only a couple hundred left and are found only in one small stretch of the Hellshire hills area.
Post a Pic Softy!
