Guess what monster fish this is

guppy, can we get a better picture? I don't like drawings (which often depicts the actual fish differently) and the second picture doesn't really show what the fish looks like.

I'll try, One more hint, it,s name denotes the plant that it is often both found and eaten with. This is the best I can find, all the sites that list it use these pics or drawings. It is found from India around through southern China
