Honduran red points

Sure doesnt look like the danli fish…maybe the monga fish?
Exact collection point on both those pictures is los almendros, Honduras, just a bit east of Danli.
 
Oh got it so it’s not the danli fish but that pic is from a fish from almendros, at one time the rio monga fish was also considered the hrp but I believe the true fish is from danli..

The danli fish IS almendros. Rio danli doesn't exist, that's the hobby name given to Rio los almendros. Genetically, the almendros and monga fish are in the same lineage as well, so technically they are sort of the same fish. Doesn't mean breed them together though.

I understand that, but that pic seems off, as for the monga fish I’m quite familiar with that fish since I caught many dozens in saba..along w the ever present cutteri

What is off about it? Inaturalist takes the exact GPS location of the catch.
