Busy day today, 3 pairs spawned. The big guy looks like he's trying to but I've only had one successful spawn from him in the 4 years he's been alive, and it was with a different species. You can see one pair spawning in this video. There's two in the wood pile with eggs. Pretty cool how the "breeding season" in my tanks perfectly lines up with their wild breeding season.
Pulled a batch from my biggest pair today. Found this too but I decided to leave them because wrigglers are easier to move than free swimming fry or eggs attached to a huge piece of driftwood. The growout now has 3 separate batches of like 20-50 each.
