Honduran red points

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are doing well. I’m on vacation right now, get back in a little over a week and I’ll get some better pics when I’m back.
I’ll see if I have more pics somewhere, later but here’s an image I do have of my wetspot male you sent me

very interesting... if you're not planning on selling them, you could try backcrossing them to see if the blue comes back. kinda funny how it pretty much just made a convict though.
Exactly what I was thinking. Will take a female back to male hrp if f1 males are infertile but I’m going to try for the f1xf1. Yeah lol, I hear ya. I’m holding out for later generations really. Just a personal project of mine though. Culling heavily, and keeping them to myself for now Atleast. I knew before that it would take multiple generations for anything really worthwhile. For f1 result, I like this start. I was told by a couple people they would basically be **** and probably no better then the Con x Cuban examples. They don’t really know about the blue gene though.

Few other photos I have of siblings. Last one is a female who also seems to fancy the male I posted earlier.

Wacky barring lol
I had cutteri hrp hybrids with lightning stripes but the bagaces killed them
Bagaces on the other hand are starting to get misbars but I'll update my other thread on those
I have no clue how the misbar gene behaves because for the most part what I'm seeing is most of the fry get it from the father, but out of 43 fry from a straight bar to straight bar crossing (female had a misbarred mother), only 5 had normal bars. Meanwhile the straight bar to misbar crossing produced 240something fry with only like 5 misbars. Really weird

Back home for spring break... There are no longer fry but there are now four pairs that look like they're probably going to spawn in the next week or so. I'll pull any fry that are still here the next time I come back.
